First try of Chinese ?!?!?
Hello there,
Last Saturday, i decided to try Chinese food. The chinese restaurant was in the center of the town, and all this time i had pinched it into ''To Do'' list in my head. So i called my two besties, and also my partners in every adventure i do, named Eve and Alexandra, to spent the evening together, trying something new.
First, i have to admit that chinese cuisine its one of the weirdest cuisines i've seen. Bamboos, Baby Corns, Chinese Cabbage, Sushi (of course), Spring Rolls, and the list goes on...
The reastaurant was a really noisy place, full of people. Its called ''Mongo'' and i think the name has a great rhythme and its funny also. Here's a picture of its logo:
(Isnt the cute little chinese chef so adorable?)
So after about half an hour waiting for our dishes, the finally arrived! They also gave us the chopsticks, but i didnt use them, due to my luck of this skill.
My two besties ordered a chicken salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot and croutons. Its really delicious, i liked it a lot.
Thats Eve's...
...And thats Alexandra's salad :)
I had the great idea of making my own dish, which leaded to the creation of a true masterpiece.
And it looked like this :
And i really enjoyed it. It was a combination of noodles (the chinese version of pasta, thats how i consider them) chicken, vegetables and these tiny little tomatoes i liked a lot. The thing i regreted adding was Bamboo, i hated the taste of it. But its ok, at least i know what not to chose next time ;)
*****************************
And thats a side note, a little out of topic, but you know how i love clothes and accessories and stuff like that, My bestie Eve, had this incredibly beautiful necklace which i couldnt help but photographing it, so here it is, its just so *lovely* :)
*******************************
Afterall, it was a really funday with my lovely ladies, definately cant wait for the next one :)
Have you ever tried chinese food? If yes, any suggestions of what to try next time? Leave them in the comments below!
